#### Job Description
As a Game Designer (Vehicles) at Ubisoft Montreal, you will focus primarily on vehicle systems and mechanics. You will tune vehicle behavior to provide an immersive and fluid driving experience, while also contributing to other aspects of game design.
**What you will do**
- Design **vehicle systems and features** in line with the game's vision
- Tune vehicle **handling and physics**, including the effect of different surfaces and terrain on driving
- Balance **vehicle parameters in Unreal Engine** to achieve enjoyable and realistic driving
- Design **vehicle modifications** where parts influence handling
- Design **cameras, controls, and combat functions** related to vehicles
- Develop **prototypes in Unreal Engine** and evaluate their results
- Collaborate with **cross-functional teams** to integrate features
- Adapt your designs to **technical and production constraints** and resolve identified issues
- Create and maintain **design documentation** and improve features through iteration
#### Qualifications

- Demonstrated **experience in vehicle design** integrated into a shipped game
- Application of your knowledge of vehicle **handling, simulation, and balancing**
- Use of **Unreal Engine** to design and tune game features
- Experience with **Chaos Vehicles in Unreal Engine** as an asset
- Demonstrated interest in **vehicle mechanics**
- Ability to clearly communicate your ideas **in writing and verbally**
- A **critical mindset**, curiosity, resourcefulness, and a collaborative spirit
- Knowledge of the **video game market** and an interest in the quality of gaming experiences
