Job Description & Summary

At PwC Australia, we recognise the power of transformation and the potential of human-centred innovation. Our Microsoft AI Business Solutions team partners with leading organisations to redesign customer, employee and operational experiences using Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio and the broader Microsoft ecosystem. We're looking for experienced Functional Architects and Delivery Leads who can combine business transformation, solution design and delivery leadership to help our clients realise value from modern business applications and AI.

Why PwC?

At PwC Australia, your skills meet purpose. We tackle big challenges across industries like finance, technology, energy, and health, giving you the chance to make a real impact. Here, your growth is our priority. You’ll work with leading teams, explore new technologies, and unlock your full potential.

Join a global community of more than 370,000 people who value bold ideas, collaboration, and lasting change. Together, we’re building trust and shaping the future.

Help shape the next generation of enterprise transformation. The way organisations sell, serve customers and operate their businesses is changing rapidly. Business applications are no longer simply systems where users record data and execute predefined processes. They are becoming intelligent platforms where AI agents, automation, data and people work together to drive decisions and outcomes.

What you’ll do:

This is not a traditional functional consulting role. You will work at the intersection of business transformation, enterprise technology, AI and delivery leadership, helping clients rethink how work should happen and leading multidisciplinary teams to bring those outcomes to life.

Shape transformation outcomes

• Work with business and technology leaders to define future-state operating models objectives and processes.

• Lead discovery, design and solution-shaping activities across customer, service and operational domains.

• Challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities for automation, AI and agent-based experiences.

• Translate business objectives into practical Microsoft solution architectures and delivery roadmaps.

Lead delivery

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across Australia and offshore delivery centres.

• Manage scope, risks, dependencies, quality, and stakeholder expectations.

• Drive successful outcomes through design, build, testing, deployment, and adoption.

• Maintain accountability for delivery quality and client satisfaction.

Provide functional architecture leadership

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams.

• Guide key decisions across process design, data, integration, security and platform governance.

• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned to business objectives.

• Provide leadership across Dynamics 365, Power Platform and AI-enabled solutions.

Build trusted relationships

• Facilitate executive and management workshops and design sessions.

• Partner and form long lasting relationships with Microsoft, and client stakeholders at all levels.

• Create confidence through clear communication, structured problem solving and pragmatic decision-making.

• Support pursuits, proposals and growth opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

• Significant experience delivering enterprise Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform transformations.

• Experience leading complex workstreams, programs, or multidisciplinary delivery teams.

• Strong business process and requirements analysis skills.

• The ability to bridge strategy, business operations, and technology delivery.

• Experience working with executive stakeholders and business leaders.

• Strong understanding of solution design and enterprise architecture principles.

• Practical knowledge of integration, security, environments, ALM, DevOps, and governance.

• Experience managing delivery risk, dependencies, finances and commercial outcomes.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• A passion for using AI, automation, and modern business applications to solve complex business problems.

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, customer transformation, service operations, case management, field service or enterprise workflow automation will be highly regarded.

What you’ll gain:

• The opportunity to work with leading organisations and cutting-edge technology that challenge and expand your expertise.

• Flexibility means trusting you to choose when, where, and how you work—balancing what’s best for you, your team, and your clients to grow and thrive together.

• Clear paths for career progression supported by continuous learning and leadership development.

• Generous leave entitlements including four weeks’ annual leave and float public holidays to support your work-life balance.

• A world-class parental leave policy offering up to 26 weeks of leave for caregivers, supporting your family and personal life.

• We know that perks are as important as your financial rewards. Explore all the benefits that PwC has to offer here.
