Fullstack Engineer London · Fulltime

Zelt is on a mission to rebuild how organisations run. Our all-in-one platform helps modern companies manage their people operations across payroll, onboarding, time off, IT provisioning and more, in a seamless and automated way.

We are the only platform on G2 named a Global Momentum Leader across HR, Payroll and IT, and we are just getting started. Our product is technically ambitious, structurally different from anything else on the market, and already trusted by forward-thinking companies.

Why this role matters

As a Fullstack Engineer at Zelt you will help build features end-to-end, from implementation to testing and launch. You will work closely with senior engineers who will guide architecture decisions while you focus on delivering high-quality code and learning how to scale a SaaS product.

This is the ideal moment to join: Zelt has product-market fit and strong backing, yet it is still early enough that your work will influence the platform’s growth and user experience. You will see your code reach customers quickly and have visible impact.

You will join a lean, product-focused team where your ideas count, your growth is supported, and your work helps shape a platform used every day by modern companies.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain features across the stack using React, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL and AWS
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers, product and design to deliver well-scoped features from start to finish
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge and grow your skills while supporting a collaborative team culture
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and follow engineering best practices
• Contribute to improving developer workflows and tooling (GitHub, GitHub Actions, Slack, Linear, Sentry, SolarWinds)
• Learn about and contribute to infrastructure (Docker, AWS ECS, RDS, S3, SES, CloudFront, CDK) with support from senior teammates.

What we are looking for

• 4-7 years of experience shipping fullstack features in a product-driven team
• Strong skills with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Working knowledge of AWS services (ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, etc.)
• Hands on with modern workflows and tooling, for example GitHub, GitHub Actions, Linear, Sentry
• Ability to scope medium sized tasks, estimate, and deliver end to end within established patterns
• Eagerness to learn from senior teammates, share knowledge, and grow technical depth
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment
• Enthusiasm for improving performance, code quality and developer experience.

Why join Zelt

• Join a high-growth SaaS company backed by the investors of Notion, Spotify and Airbnb at exactly the right stage: proven product, strong momentum and still small enough that every engineer shapes the platform
• Work with an experienced, international team that ships fast and delivers features used every day
• Build and ship AI features in production, from model integration to scale and reliability
• See direct impact and visibility for your work rather than being one of hundreds in a large org
• Be part of a culture that values curiosity, technical excellence and continuous learning, with clear paths to take on bigger responsibilities
• Competitive compensation and benefits, including health insurance, with big technical challenges ahead.

Your work at Zelt will not disappear into the background, it will help define how modern companies run their people operations.
