⛵ About our Crew

Click&Boat is a rental platform product of Boats Group, the fastest-growing digital business in the recreational boating space. We are a talented team of techies, creatives, marketers, closers and customer advocates who spend each day pushing the boundaries of technology to make buying, selling & renting boats easy. We spend each day surrounded by 500,000 boats from across the globe!

Click&Boat is the European leader in boat rentals. Our marketplace makes boating accessible around the world, from a day trip to a week-long adventure, while enabling private and professional boat owners to generate additional income through rentals.

🤘 How do we do it?

At Click&Boat, we believe in empowering our developers to build the company's strategy and shape the future of boating. People joining Click&Boat are always delighted by our innovative working method. We have a set of cultural values that guide our approach to work, such as:

• Data-Driven: We prioritize data-driven decisions to ensure our products meet user needs.

• Tech for Purpose: We believe technology is a means to solve real problems, not an end.

• Full Empowerment: Our developers are not just coders; they are strategic partners who have a direct impact on our product roadmap and company objectives.

• Full Transparency: You'll have access to the entire company strategy and be a key player in achieving our OKRs.

• Boring architecture: we are always seeking the simplest solution for our complex challenges… and that is not simple! ( if you want to know more)

⭐️ The Engineering Team ⭐️

Our engineering team is currently composed of 4 agile squads, each responsible for a specific functional scope. As we expand into the US market, we will grow to 6 squads, with two new squads dedicated to building and scaling our product for US users. Together, the teams build the infrastructure, interfaces, and applications that provide a first-class experience for our users: boat owners, customers renting boats, and Click&Boat internal teams.

By joining Click&Boat, you’ll meet a team of talented, committed, and passionate engineers with a lot of product interactions. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects quickly, whilst being mentored by talented senior engineers who have made significant contributions at renowned companies like Doctolib (VP of Engineering, Engineering Director & Principal Engineer) and ManoMano.

We move fast, with a lot of ownership, and are proud to tackle big problems! Being a developer at Click&Boat means more than just coding. Our developers are also responsible for preparing their features, collaborating with product managers and designers, monitoring and validating features once in production.

Our stack includes up-to-date Angular, PHP, MySQL, Symfony.
