Do you want to join the technological revolution? Tendium is looking for a Fullstack AI Engineer to join our team.
Tendium is the global pioneer in AI-driven public tender management, transforming how companies discover, analyse, and win government contracts. Our platform turns complex processes into something simple and transparent, empowering businesses to compete fairly for billions in public sector opportunities. We’ve been building our AI-native platform since 2018, leveraging a vast data moat, agentic AI, and tens of thousands of hours of R&D. Today, we serve large numbers of customers across Europe and are rapidly scaling.
If you’re ready to make an impact and grow with us, we want to hear from you.
As a fullstack engineer, you are comfortable working across the whole stack, building intuitive user experiences as well as backend services and some dev-ops. You will build state-of-the-art solutions using modern LLMs and agentic technologies, applying them directly to real product challenges. You’ll take ownership from understanding the problem to deploying and refining features that create meaningful value for users.
You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering to shape what we build. This includes rapid prototyping, exploring current LLM and agentic methods, and turning them into reliable, production-ready systems, both in backend and frontend.
We release early and iterate based on real usage. This role suits someone who enjoys combining strong engineering skills with modern AI methods and who wants to push the boundaries of what our software can do.
You will:
Work across the tech stack together with your team mates. You are probably more passionate about either frontend or backend but comfortable working in both.
Deeply understand our users and the challenges of navigating complex procurement data.
Design, build, and refine AI systems, from prompt-driven models to multi-step agent flows.
Own features end to end: discovery, modeling, evaluation, deployment, and iteration.
Integrate AI outputs into product features that users trust and rely on.
Collaborate with product and design to explore what AI should accomplish for procurement teams.
Balance rapid experimentation with building scalable, maintainable AI systems.
Several years of experience as a software engineer. You have worked across the stack, even if you might have spent the majority of the time in backend or frontend.
A product mindset and the ability to choose the right approach by understanding the problem first.
Strong engineering fundamentals, with the ability to work effortlessly across the stack.
Experience or very eager to learn how to design agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented systems, or evaluation pipelines.
Comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to turn fuzzy problems into clear, workable solutions.
Based in Stockholm, within commuting distance from our office in central Stockholm.
Fluent in English.
TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python GraphQL
PostgreSQL, Opensearch, Athena
AWS
Microservice Architecture: Fargate, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, GraphQL, OpenAPI
AI Tooling: Claude Code, Internal MCP Server
We’re agile but not dogmatic. We ship minimum viable products, iterate based on real feedback, and aim for quality without overengineering. Great ideas come from anywhere, and you’ll influence not just what we build, but how we work.

If you want to build products that actually matter to the people who use them, let’s talk.
We will be on vacations in July and will get back to you in August. We look forward to your application.
Please note: At the moment we are not able to sponsor VISA applications, so you need to have the right to work in Sweden.
