Full-time Internship - Communication/Tech support Altitude (Jan - June 2027 fulltime)

Job Description & Summary

As an intern within the Xpedition team, you'll be part of PwC's flagship learning programme - Altitude. This is more than just an internship; it's a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative leadership training event for young professionals from across PwC Europe.

Each year, PwC hosts Altitude, a two-day leadership training event that empowers approximately 1,000 professionals from seven different countries. Participants explore themes of leading oneself and leading others, making it a truly impactful experience.

You will be based in Amsterdam, working both from the office and virtually. The role involves some travel to Germany and an on-site presence in Frankfurt for several weeks in May and June, where the Altitude events take place.

Your main responsibilities will include managing communication and the event app for Altitude. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a memorable and impactful event, while developing valuable skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Throughout your internship, you will build on your strengths, identify growth opportunities, and enhance your ability to collaborate effectively within an international team.

By the end of your experience, you will have gained practical knowledge in organizing international events, managing communications, and working across diverse teams. This is your chance to grow professionally, expand your skill set, and make a meaningful impact.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for the Altitude Event App: Act as the main point of contact for our external supplier and manage and set up content for the app. You are the lead for this part of the project and responsible for setting and communicating important deadlines with the team;

• Coordinate Communication: Prepare and distribute all support staff communication, handle emails, calendar invites, and internal SharePoints, ensuring all content is up-to-date and precise;

• Create Engaging Slides: Collaborate with the design team to develop slides for onsite content;

• Support Event Delivery: Assist with on-site event management in Frankfurt, ensuring a smooth experience for all participants.

You will report directly to the Altitude project lead and collaborate with a team of six other members. The role requires full-time commitment.

What we're looking for:

• You currently live in the Netherlands;

• You are in your 3rd or 4th year and following a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Event Management or a related field;

• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills;

• A can-do mentality, problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay cool under pressure;

• A pro-active team player with an eye for detail and proficiency in Excel;

• Someone eager for a hands-on, practical internship experience.

What we offer
At PwC, you will have the opportunity to be yourself, get the best out of yourself in a high-performance organisation and grow within our global network. As part of our team, we offer:

• Hands-on experience in setting up a professional learning & development programme and organizing a large international event;

• Work in an international team, including travel to Germany;

• A competitive internship compensation, travel allowance for those without a student travel product, a laptop from PwC and paid vacation days;

• Personalised internship programmes where collaboration with colleagues is key and you can constantly benefit from expert guidance to ensure your internship is a success;

• Access to a comprehensive learning environment, where you can dive deep into different fields and learn about your potential future employer;

• Development of your personal and business skills through our progressive courses and programmes;

• A unique opportunity to gain insights into a leading professional services firm;

• Hybrid working at home and office.
