Fort Meade, MD
Summary:
BizFirst is assisting our client
with recruiting a skilled and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer. This
position supports the following program: a signals intelligence (SIGINT)
mission support program that provides collection systems engineering, target
development, analysis, reporting, and mission software development for an
Intelligence Community customer. The position is onsite at Fort Meade, MD, and
the role is open now for an immediate start.
Our client is a Service-Disabled
Veteran-Owned Small Business that has supported U.S. defense and intelligence
missions since 2012. Its systems, software, and data science engineers work
side by side with government teams to model, design, integrate, and deploy
complex mission systems, and the company also builds rugged RF hardware for
specialized SIGINT applications. Led by a U.S. Navy veteran with more than 30
years of DoD mission experience, the company supports programs alongside many
of the largest national security integrators and has a long-established
presence in Maryland near Fort Meade.
What will you do
Build full-stack capabilities
for an intelligence mission team, pairing responsive user interfaces with
scalable Spring Boot services that deploy to cloud environments. You will work
with product owners, testers, and fellow developers to define UI requirements,
design RESTful APIs, connect front-end applications to backend services, and
tune performance on both the client and server sides. You will take part in the
full software lifecycle, from planning and design through testing, deployment,
and ongoing support. This role suits a seasoned Java engineer who is equally
comfortable in Spring Boot and a modern JavaScript framework, and who enjoys
building tools that mission users rely on every day.
