Our values – customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste – are at the heart of everything we do.
This role is part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.
As a Full-Stack Software Developer, you will join Team Jaguar, one of several cross-functional development teams working together to build the TRATON Workshop Suite (TWS) – the digital workshop platform supporting technicians in servicing, maintaining and updating vehicles across the TRATON Group.
Team Jaguar is responsible for the Software Update domain, developing user-facing functionality that enables workshop technicians to safely and efficiently update vehicle software. The team owns the functionality and user experience end-to-end, from the workshop application through backend and cloud services. To deliver the complete solution, we collaborate closely with other TWS teams and use shared capabilities such as product and vehicle communication services.
In this role, you will work across the full technology stack, primarily using C#/.NET, AWS and Angular in a microservice-based architecture. The solutions you develop are ultimately used by workshop technicians in their daily work, giving the role a clear connection between the technology we build and the value it creates for our users.
You will be part of a team with shared responsibility for building, operating and continuously improving stable, secure and user-friendly solutions that support efficient workshop operations across the TRATON Group.
We believe you are a collaborative and curious full-stack software developer who enjoys solving real problems for end users and understanding the complete solution.
You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience and a solid foundation in software development. You don't need to have worked with every technology in our stack – what matters is that you have relevant experience, enjoy learning and can contribute effectively as part of a team.
You have experience with C#/.NET, cloud development such as AWS and microservice architectures, combined with frontend development. Experience with Angular is preferred, while experience with other modern frontend frameworks, such as React, is also valuable.
You do not need to be equally strong in frontend and backend development, but you should be comfortable working across both and willing to contribute wherever the team needs you.
For us, technical competence is only part of what makes a great developer. How you collaborate, communicate and contribute to the team is equally important. We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with others, shares knowledge, asks for help when needed and actively helps others succeed. We value shared ownership and believe that the best results are achieved together.
You are comfortable communicating with different audiences – from discussing technical details with fellow developers to explaining complex technical topics to stakeholders with different levels of technical knowledge. You can adapt your communication to your audience, making complex topics understandable without losing what is important. You listen to different perspectives and seek to understand the needs behind what we build.
You take initiative and ownership while staying aligned with the team. You are curious about the customer and want to understand not only how something should be built, but why it matters to the people using it.
Experience within automotive software, vehicle communication, distributed systems, DevOps, observability or similar technically complex environments is considered an advantage, but not a requirement. Most importantly, you are motivated to learn the domain, contribute to the team and grow together with us.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and value different experiences and perspectives. If you are excited about the role but don't meet every qualification listed, we still encourage you to apply.
Team Jaguar is a cross-functional team of developers and testers responsible for the Software Update domain within the TRATON Workshop Suite.
Our solutions enable workshop technicians to perform software updates on vehicles, making our work both technically challenging and directly connected to the end-user experience. We develop across frontend, backend and cloud services and collaborate closely with other TWS teams whose capabilities together enable the complete workshop solution.
Jaguar is one of several teams that together develop the TRATON Workshop Suite. We have clear ownership of our domain while depending on and contributing to the wider TWS ecosystem. Close collaboration across team boundaries is therefore a natural part of how we work.
Within Jaguar, we work closely together and share responsibility for what we build and operate. Different experiences, perspectives and strengths make the team better, and we help each other solve problems, share knowledge and learn along the way. We want an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions, contributing ideas and challenging existing solutions constructively.
We strive to work in an agile and iterative way, with close collaboration, shared ownership and continuous improvement. As a team, we plan, build, evaluate, learn and adjust together, continuously looking for ways to improve both our solutions and how we work.
Joining Team Jaguar means becoming part of a collaborative team where you can work across the full technology stack, broaden your skills across frontend, backend and cloud development, and contribute to solutions with a clear impact on workshop operations.
As part of the wider TRATON Workshop Suite development organization, you will also be exposed to different technical domains, technologies and challenges, creating opportunities to broaden your experience and continue developing over time. You will have opportunities to learn from others, share your own expertise and grow together with the team as we continue developing the TRATON Workshop Suite.
We offer a dynamic and engaging workplace where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life. You will be part of a strong team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and close cooperation across functions.
With a structured development plan and a wide range of training opportunities, TRATON Group R&D supports your professional growth both locally and internationally.
Benefits include access to our health center in Gröndal or a wellness allowance, bonus, flexible working hours, and company car leasing. We also arrange events for employees and their families, and for those living in Stockholm, convenient commuting is supported through direct Scania Job express buses to Södertälje.
We look forward to receiving your application, consisting of your CV and kindly ask you not to share a cover letter to ensure an efficient and unbiased recruitment process for all parties.
Apply as soon as possible, no later than 2026-10-19. Screening will take place on an ongoing basis during the application period. Logical and personality tests may be used as part of the selection process, and a background check is required for this role.
