Senior full-stack developer building the core of a financial services platform: customer-facing portals, backend services, and REST APIs, with input on architecture, security, and performance. Front end in React or Angular, back end in Java/Python/Node.js/Go, hybrid from Madrid (2 days/week onsite) with AI-assisted tooling like Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code.
Senior Full Stack Software Developer - FinTech Platform
At Shakers, we're partnering with a company building a next-generation financial services platform to bring on a Senior Full Stack Software Developer. It's a hands‑on role with real ownership over core systems, working two days a week from a Madrid office in Retiro.
The team is building out the core of a financial platform from the ground up: customer-facing portals, backend services, and the APIs that tie everything together. There's real ownership here, working closely with product, data and business stakeholders on architecture, security and performance decisions, while also reviewing code and mentoring less senior developers. Delivery speed matters, and the team leans on AI-assisted tooling (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to move fast without cutting corners on quality.
Sounds like you, or like someone in your network? Reach out or share it along; happy to walk through the details
