Full stack Software Developer (.NET) – Onsite/Hybrid – Lancaster

Your day to day will consist of:
Designing and developing end-to-end features across frontend and backend
Building and maintaining scalable web applications using modern .NET technologies
Work closely with stakeholders to translate real-world requirements into technical solutions
Take ownership of system architecture and technical decisions
Develop and consume RESTful APIs
Ensure applications are secure, performant, and highly reliable
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit + integration testing)
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in production systems
Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards, processes, and tooling
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Support ongoing product evolution by suggesting new features and improvements
Requirements
4+ years’ experience in software development
Strong experience with C# / .NET
Solid understanding of ASP.NET MVC
Experience with APIs, Entity Framework, and database design
Strong grasp of OOP, clean code, and software design principles
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Someone comfortable working independently and taking ownership
Exposure to Azure / cloud-based systems
Experience with SQL Server, IIS, or Windows environments
Background working on regulated or data-sensitive systems
Working Setup
Initial onboarding is office-based for training and then moving 3 days onsite and 2 days working remotely
