Full Stack Engineer - C# / React / SQL

Our multi-strategy hedge fund client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their technology team in London on a contract basis.

You'll be working on critical middle and back-office systems that support trading and operations functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using C# backend and React frontend
• Build and enhance middle and back-office systems supporting fund operations
• Collaborate with business stakeholders including fund accounting, operations, and trading teams
• Develop scalable, high-performance solutions for financial data processing
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high development standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in C# .NET (Core preferred) for backend development
• Solid experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with SQL Server and database design
• Proven experience working on middle/back-office systems in financial services
• Understanding of fund operations workflows and processes
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Highly Desirable

• Experience with fund accounting/administration systems (Geneva, Charles River, SimCorp, etc.)
• Knowledge of portfolio accounting concepts and post-trade lifecycle
• Familiarity with financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives)
• Understanding of hedge fund operations
