Full Stack Engineer (Backend Leaning) - Start-Up - Nyc

Ambitious Full Stack Engineer (Backend Leaning) | Build From 0 → 1 | NYC

The Opportunity

Some engineers join a team. Others get in early enough to help shape what the team becomes.

This is one of those opportunities.

We're looking for an ambitious Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus who wants real ownership from day one — not "join a team and pick up tickets." You'll be joining one of NYC's fastest-growing start-ups, helping build and scale a product that's already operating at serious volume.

Billions of interactions. Rapid growth. Serious backing. A product with genuine momentum.

If you're hungry, technically sharp, and want to be one of the engineers helping shape what comes next, keep reading

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology solutions seamlessly
• Focus on back-end web development, including programming and debugging
• Implement scalable solutions
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle

About You

You're looking for the opportunity that could define your career.

You've probably spent your spare time building side projects, launching apps, competing in hackathons or interning with ambitious start-ups because you genuinely love creating products. You enjoy solving difficult problems, learn incredibly quickly and thrive in environments where ownership is expected rather than given. You don't wait for instructions — you identify problems, propose solutions and make things happen.

You'll ideally have a Bachelor's degree at a top university in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, and be excited by the pace, responsibility and learning that only an early-stage company can offer.

Required Technologies and Skills

• 1–5 years of software engineering experience
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency in TypeScript and PostgreSQL
• Experience building backend applications
