Full Stack Developer

About Stay Finance

At Stay Finance, we're transforming the way Australians access finance. As a growing fintech lender, we're building a modern digital lending platform that delivers a faster, simpler, and more transparent borrowing experience.

We're looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to help build the next generation of our lending platform. You'll work across the full technology stack, developing customer-facing features, internal tools, and the systems that power our business.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-moving, technology-driven business where you'll have a genuine voice in the product you're building. You'll work closely with leadership and operational teams, contributing not only to engineering decisions but also helping shape the direction of the platform and customer experience.

If you enjoy solving complex problems, taking ownership, and building software that delivers real business impact, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Full Stack Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the technology that powers Stay Finance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing modern, responsive web applications using React and Next.js.

• Working with AWS cloud infrastructure to build secure, reliable and scalable applications.

• Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand problems and deliver practical, high-impact solutions.

• Contributing ideas to product development and influencing technical direction.

• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code.

• Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving production issues.

• Participating in code reviews and technical design discussions.

• Continuously improving development practices, system performance and platform architecture.

About You

You're a developer who enjoys building products, not just completing tickets. You're curious, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of your work while collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
