A remote full stack developer role in South Africa: build and maintain both front-end web interfaces and back-end services, design APIs and databases, and troubleshoot and optimise application performance while collaborating with designers and stakeholders. Develop and maintain front-end and back-end applications.
Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces.
Design, develop, and maintain APIs and databases.
Troubleshoot, test, and optimise application performance.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders.
Maintain code quality and follow development best practices.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
Experience with back-end languages such as C#, Python, Java, or Node.js.
Knowledge of databases, APIs, and version control systems.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent experience advantageous.
