Full Stack Developer – React / Node.js / Python | AI-Assisted Development

🚀 We’re Hiring: Full Stack Developer – React / Node.js / Python | AI-Assisted Development

Experience: 2–4 Years

Location: Pune

Company: Webassic IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer who can build modern web applications end-to-end — and knows how to effectively use AI development tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar tools to build faster and better.

This is not a role for someone who simply generates code using AI.

We are looking for someone who understands software engineering fundamentals, can independently reason through technical problems, review and improve AI-generated code, debug issues, and take ownership of building production-quality applications.

What You’ll Work On

You will work with our technology team to build and evolve modern Progressive Web Applications (PWAs), SaaS products and AI-enabled applications.

You will be involved across the development lifecycle — from understanding requirements and designing solutions to development, testing, debugging and deployment.

What We’re Looking For

Frontend

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js

• JavaScript / TypeScript

• HTML5, CSS3 and modern responsive UI development

• REST API integration

• Experience building mobile-friendly web applications / PWAs

• Understanding of frontend state management and component architecture

Backend

Strong practical experience with one or more of:

• Node.js

• Python

• REST APIs and backend application development

• MySQL / PostgreSQL or similar relational databases

• Authentication, authorization and application security fundamentals

AI-Assisted Development

This is an important part of the role.

You should have practical experience using one or more AI development tools such as:

• OpenAI Codex

• Claude Code

• Cursor

• GitHub Copilot

• Other agentic coding / AI development tools

We expect you to know how to use AI for more than code completion.

You should be comfortable using AI tools to:

• Understand an existing codebase

• Plan implementation before coding

• Generate and refactor code

• Debug complex problems

• Write and improve tests

• Review AI-generated code critically

• Work with Git branches and repositories

• Investigate bugs across frontend, backend and database layers

• Improve development speed without compromising code quality

Engineering Skills We Value

• Git / GitHub

• Linux development environments

• API design

• Database design

• Debugging and troubleshooting

• Automated testing

• Clean, maintainable and well-structured code

• Ability to understand and modify an existing codebase

• Ability to independently take a feature from requirement → implementation → testing

Who Would Be a Strong Fit?

Someone with approximately 2–4 years of professional software development experience who:

• Has actually built applications, not just completed tutorials

• Enjoys solving technical problems independently

• Is comfortable working across frontend and backend

• Has started using AI coding agents seriously in day-to-day development

• Understands that AI-generated code still needs engineering judgment

• Is curious about new technologies and willing to experiment

• Likes building products rather than working only on isolated development tickets

Why This Role Is Interesting

Software development is changing rapidly.

We believe the next generation of strong developers will combine solid engineering fundamentals with AI-assisted development workflows.

You will have the opportunity to work on real products, modern PWAs and AI-driven applications while working closely with our technology leadership team.

If you are already experimenting with AI coding agents and believe they have fundamentally changed the way software can be built, we would like to hear from you.
