You will work closely with a small, cross-functional team of developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced backend engineers to take full ownership of their projects, from initial design to deployment and monitoring in production environments.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Go services and RESTful APIs to support business requirements.
• Ensure the health, security, and performance of distributed systems running in AWS cloud environments.
• Implement automated testing, regression tests, and CI/CD pipelines to facilitate smooth and reliable releases.
• Collaborate with product teams, stakeholders, and partners to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes.
• Contribute to frontend development tasks if applicable, utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks to enhance user interfaces.

Benefits

• Competitive salary package ranging from £40,000 to £60,000, commensurate with experience.
• Fully remote working arrangement, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
• Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pension contributions, and paid time off.
• Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning through training and conferences.
• Collaborative and innovative work environment that values your ideas and contributions.
• Participation in exciting projects that have a tangible impact on major enterprise clients.
