Full stack developer on Millennium's Meteorite Web team in London, building intraday equities trading tools used by PMs, traders, and management. Day to day you deliver end-to-end features: backend services in Java and Python, UIs in Angular or React, and data work with PostgreSQL while exploring ClickHouse for analytics.
As a Full Stack Developer on Millennium's Meteorite Web team, you design and deliver end-to-end features for intraday trading tools. You will partner with product managers and business users to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions for a data-heavy trading environment. You’ll implement backend services in Java and Python, build modern UIs with Angular or React, and work with PostgreSQL while exploring analytical workloads via ClickHouse. You drive performance, reliability, and hands-on ownership from design to production delivery, shaping the platform used by PMs, traders, and management.
Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and support full-stack features for the Meteorite Web platform
Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Engage with end users to understand workflows and improve product experience
Develop backend services and data integrations using Java and Python
Build web interfaces using Angular, React, and related technologies
Work with PostgreSQL and contribute to integrating ClickHouse for analytical workloads
Improve platform performance, reliability, observability, and engineering practices
Own features end to end from design through production delivery
Key requirements
Strong software engineering experience with Java and/or Python
Experience with SQL and relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
Experience building web applications, APIs, or distributed systems
Familiarity with Angular, React, or modern JavaScript/TypeScript development
Strong ownership mindset and ability to ship from design to production
Clear communication and collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders
Experience with financial systems, intraday P&L, positions, risk, or ClickHouse is beneficial but not essential
