About Zendrop:
Zendrop is a fast-growing US-based dropshipping platform that helps entrepreneurs easily start and scale their online stores. Thousands of merchants use our tools to streamline logistics, improve customer experience, and grow revenue.
At Zendrop we move fast, take ownership, and care deeply about results. Our core values — Speed Over Perfection, Results Driven, and Extreme Ownership guide every decision we make.
We act quickly and focus on what truly moves the needle. We’re driven by outcomes, not checkboxes, and we take full responsibility from start to finish. Every team member has the autonomy to make an impact and the accountability to see it through.
If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment where progress matters more than perfection, you’ll fit right in.
Description:
We’re looking for an AI-first Full-Stack Developer who ships product end-to-end — Laravel on the backend, Vue 3 on the frontend — and treats AI as the primary way to get there. This role is focused on building merchant-facing tools where speed, creativity, and AI-native workflows matter more than traditional engineering process.
Our team already builds with AI agents, vibe coding, and AI-driven testing daily. Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, and Codex are standard kit. We’re not looking for someone to introduce AI to the team — we need someone who’s already further ahead and can keep pushing the ceiling on what’s possible when you combine a strong full-stack foundation with cutting-edge AI workflows.
The project:
«We are more interested in bright developers with aspirations and burning desire to work, than in specific skills.»
📍 Location:
This is a hybrid role based in West Palm Beach. Candiates must be able to be in the office at least 3 days per week.
What You’ll Do
- Ship full-stack features end-to-end — from Laravel API to Vue 3 UI — using AI-native workflows as your default mode of building
- Build merchant-facing tools that leverage AI to generate creative assets, automate workflows, and solve real e-commerce problems
- Vibe code aggressively — prototype fast, validate with real users, iterate. Speed over perfection, always
- Stay ahead of the AI tooling curve — evaluate new coding agents, testing frameworks, and generation tools, then bring the best ones into the team’s stack
- Own quality for AI-generated code — establish review practices, testing standards, and guardrails that let us ship fast without breaking things
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to turn ideas into shipped features quickly
Tech Stack
- Backend: Laravel (PHP 8+), PostgreSQL, Redis, REST APIs
- Frontend: Vue 3, Pinia, Vue Router, Tailwind, Sass
- Build: Laravel Mix, Webpack
- AI Tools: Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, AI testing frameworks
- Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, CI/CD
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated, daily use of AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Codex, or similar) — not just experimenting, actually shipping with them
- Full-stack experience with Laravel + a modern JS framework (Vue preferred, React acceptable)
- Deep curiosity about AI-driven development — you follow the space, try new tools the week they drop, and have opinions on what actually works
- Experience with AI agents for coding, AI-driven testing, or vibe coding workflows
- 3+ years of professional full-stack development with solid PHP and JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
- Comfortable designing REST APIs, working with relational databases, and managing state on the frontend
- Ability to read, review, and improve both human-written and AI-generated code
Nice to Have
- Experience building AI-powered product features (generative content, recommendation engines, automation tools)
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Clickfunnels, fulfillment systems)
- Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into production applications
- Experience with queue systems, event-driven architecture, or background job processing in Laravel
How We Think About AI
AI-driven development isn’t aspirational at Zendrop — it’s already how we work. Our engineers ship with AI tools daily and our designers vibe code frontend components. We’re hiring someone who operates at the frontier and keeps us there:
- Use AI agents and coding assistants as your primary development workflow, not a side tool
- Push the boundaries of what’s possible — automate testing, generate full features, prototype at speed
- Bring engineering judgment to AI outputs — know when to trust, when to verify, and when to override
- Keep our AI-native engineering culture on the cutting edge — we’re already there, we need someone who keeps us ahead
Benefits:
- Flexible PTO
- Career development and growth opportunities
- A collaborative and inclusive work environment
- Work on AI-powered product features that ship directly to thousands of merchants — not internal tooling, real customer impact
