About the role
The Frontend Software Engineer supports the CX team in designing, building, testing, and maintaining responsive customer-facing interfaces and user flows. The role focuses on usability, accessibility, frontend quality, performance, secure API consumption, and the delivery of seamless digital journeys.
Key responsibilities
Build responsive, accessible, and maintainable customer-facing interfaces using React, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Implement reusable UI components, frontend service interactions, validation, state management, and error handling.
Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, authentication flows, and secure API consumption patterns.
Optimise page performance, mobile usability, browser compatibility, accessibility, and customer journey quality.
Develop frontend tests including unit, component, end-to-end, and regression tests.
About you
3–5 years experience required
Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, CSS, reusable component design, responsive interfaces, browser compatibility, accessibility, usability, design-system adoption, frontend testing, and secure API consumption.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control, code review practices, cloud or container-based deployment, monitoring tools, secure development practices, and Agile delivery is preferred.
