Frontend Engineer

About the job

Nebex is building the market infrastructure that powers the next generation of the space economy. We connect commercial space companies, government organisations and enterprise buyers through a platform that makes it easier to discover suppliers, procure capabilities and execute complex programmes with confidence.

We're also building differently.

At Nebex, AI is embedded into the engineering workflow. Our engineers work alongside tools such as Claude Code every day, using AI to accelerate development, automate repetitive tasks and focus on solving complex product challenges. We're looking for engineers who embrace this new way of building software and combine the speed of AI with the judgement of an experienced engineer.

The Opportunity

You'll own the customer-facing product, shaping how users discover opportunities, analyse market intelligence and interact with complex datasets. Working closely with Product and Engineering, you'll build elegant, high-performance applications that simplify complex workflows and deliver real value to customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own and evolve the frontend experience across our React and TypeScript platform.

• Build intuitive, high-performance interfaces that transform complex data into simple user experiences.

• Develop new product features using GraphQL and REST APIs.

• Work with AI-powered development tools to ship high-quality software quickly and efficiently.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Market Operations to deliver customer value.

What We're Looking For

• Strong commercial experience building applications with React and TypeScript.

• Experience integrating GraphQL and REST APIs into modern web applications.

• Excellent product instincts and the ability to create polished, responsive user experiences.

• A genuine interest in AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices.

• A collaborative, ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.

Why Nebex?

• Build foundational technology for one of the world's fastest-growing industries.

• Work in an AI-native engineering team that's redefining how software is built.

• Take ownership from day one and have a direct impact on the product and technical direction.

• Work alongside experienced founders solving genuinely difficult technical problems.

• Receive competitive compensation, meaningful equity and the opportunity to help shape a category-defining company.

If you're excited by modern engineering, AI-powered software development and building the infrastructure behind the future space economy, we'd love to hear from you.
