Senior Fraud Analyst protecting Qonto's French market customers by monitoring transactions, investigating complex fraud cases, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with Risk and Security teams.

Join us as a Fraud Analyst to detect and prevent fraud and protect Qonto’s French market customers from scams. You’ll join our specialised Fraud team of about 7 people, where your work protects customers and Qonto from fraud-related risks and supports compliance as we grow. You’ll report to Anamaria Codorean-Termure, our Senior Team Lead Fraud.
➡️ What you’ll do
- Monitor transactions: You’ll analyse transactions to detect fraud patterns, focusing on scams, phishing and account takeover.
- Investigate and prevent: You’ll independently investigate complex fraud cases and put preventive measures in place across financing and payment products.
- Assess risk early: You’ll run risk assessments on new products and features and keep onboarding fraud prevention robust.
- Own projects: You’ll own medium-scale projects end to end, in line with the objectives set by your Lead.
- Strengthen detection with Risk and Security: You’ll work with both teams to improve fraud detection and align strategies.

- Fraud or AML experience: You’ve independently handled complex fraud or AML cases at senior level.
- Investigative mindset: You use evidence-based and creative thinking to detect patterns and solve complex cases.
- Clear communication: You’re confident talking with customers and counterparties, including in sensitive situations.
- Languages: You’re fluent in English and French, and Portuguese is a plus.
- AI-native learning mindset: You welcome feedback and use AI tools to keep sharpening how you work.

Anamaria has spent nearly 7 years at Qonto, growing from AML-CFT Analyst to leading the Fraud team across France, Spain and Portugal. She values agility, collaboration and a proactive approach to emerging threats, and she’ll support your ramp-up closely while trusting you to own your cases.
