About the Role
We're looking for an analytical and commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join our ANZ Finance team. Reporting to the Head of FP&A & M&A – ANZ, you'll play a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting and commercial analysis across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their FP&A career — or an accountant looking to transition into commercial finance — to broaden their experience, work closely with senior stakeholders, and contribute to strategic decision-making within a growing finance function.
What You'll Be Doing
As our FP&A Analyst, you will:
- Support the annual budget, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis and performance insights.
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and forecasting tools.
- Analyse revenue, costs, margins and key business drivers to support commercial decisions.
- Assist with pricing, profitability and cost improvement initiatives.
- Ensure financial data integrity and support governance and reporting standards.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful financial insights.
About You
You'll be a motivated finance professional with strong analytical capability, a genuine interest in commercial finance, and a can-do attitude — whether you're 2-3 years into an FP&A or commercial finance career, or coming from an accounting background and ready to make the move into a more forward-looking, business-facing role. You enjoy solving problems, take ownership of your work, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
You'll bring:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years' experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management accounting or public practice.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive approach, willingness to learn, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
It would be advantageous if you also have:
- CA or CPA qualification (or are currently working towards it).
- Experience working within a multinational organisation.
- Exposure to BI, reporting or financial planning tools.
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- An interest in leveraging AI and technology to improve business processes.
Why Join Hunter Douglas?
At Hunter Douglas, you'll be part of a global market leader where innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement are at the heart of what we do. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced finance professionals, develop your commercial acumen, and make a genuine impact on business performance across the ANZ region. We also offer:
- Career growth: Access to structured development opportunities to support your professional advancement.
- Employee benefits: Enjoy generous staff discounts on our premium products.
- Birthday Leave: An extra day off in your birthday month!
- Great culture: Be part of a supportive, collaborative team where your contribution makes an impact.
If you're looking to take the next step in your FP&A career — whether that's your first move into it or your next one — we'd love to hear from you.
