Founding Solutions Engineer - German (DACH Market) - Remote - DevOps

German-Speaking Solutions Engineers

Ready to Build the Technical Front Line of Europe’s Application Development Mandate?

A major shift in European accessibility legislation is forcing large enterprises to rethink how they build software.

This is not “nice to have” anymore.

It’s mandatory.

A US market leader in enterprise software - already embedded in large global organisations - is now building dedicated technical capability in Germany & DACH.

They’re not hiring a demo engineer.

They’re hiring a technical builder.

Exec Summary

Role: Founding Solutions Engineer - Germany & DACH

Industry: Enterprise DevOps / Test Automation / Accessibility Software

Location: Remote Europe (Spain, UK, Ireland, Holland preferred)

Base Salary: ~€120K

Variable: €20K–€30K

Stage: Established US leader scaling European footprint

Focus: Pre-sales + post-sales technical ownership, PoC leadership, developer enablement, regional build

Why This Role, and Why Now?

Europe is entering a compliance-driven wave.

German and DACH-based enterprises are under increasing scrutiny to ensure their digital platforms meet accessibility standards. Development teams are under pressure. Many are unprepared.

This company has already won in the US.

Now it is building technical infrastructure in DACH.

You would:

• Partner with the first Regional Sales Director in Germany
• Support €500K+ enterprise deal cycles
• Lead 2–4 week PoCs with defined technical success criteria
• Enable partners across the DACH ecosystem
• Help shape how the company operates technically in Germany
• Influence how accessibility is embedded into CI/CD workflows

This is early-stage regional build with real autonomy.

Not maintenance.

Not back-office support.

Build.

The Technical Edge

This is not surface-level SaaS.

You’ll work with:

• Modern front-end stacks (React, Node, Angular)
• CI/CD environments
• Test automation frameworks (Cypress, WebDriverIO, Puppeteer)
• SDLC optimisation
• AI-enabled tooling
• Developer-first workflows

The platform actively identifies accessibility issues at code level and helps teams fix them in real time.

You’ll be speaking to engineers who care deeply about the integrity of what they ship.

And you’ll need their trust.

What You Will Actually Be Doing

• Join after business qualification to run technical discovery
• Deliver tailored demos to development teams
• Define and drive PoC success criteria
• Manage 2-4 week validation cycles
• Meet weekly during PoCs to ensure technical adoption
• Support both direct enterprise deals and partner-led opportunities
• Assist with onboarding and early implementation
• Influence upsell and expansion through technical credibility
• Act as the regional technical face of the business

Expect to support ~15–20 active deals at various stages.

You’ll need discipline, prioritisation, and commercial awareness.

What Success Looks Like?

First 3 Months

• Confidently delivering technical demos
• Supporting active PoCs
• Building credibility with AEs and partners
• Immersed in the product and workflows

By Month 6

• Independently running complex PoCs
• Increasing technical win rates
• Trusted advisor to enterprise dev teams
• Contributing to partner enablement strategy

End of Year 1

• Embedded as the technical authority in-region
• Supporting €2M+ influenced revenue
• Helping scale the SE function as the region grows

What You Bring To The Team

• 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer / Sales Engineer)
• Modern front-end development experience
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Hands‑on exposure to test automation frameworks
• Experience engaging directly with developers
• Comfort in PoC‑led, multi‑stakeholder enterprise sales
• Native‑level German + strong English

You understand SDLC.

You can speak both “developer” and “commercial”.

You’re comfortable explaining technical trade‑offs clearly.

This Role Will Stretch You If

• You’ve only operated inside highly structured enterprise SE teams
• You need heavy process and documentation to function
• You prefer pure post‑sales support roles
• You’re uncomfortable in early‑stage ambiguity
• You don’t enjoy speaking directly to developers

This is a builder mandate.

Why Strong Engineers Move Here?

• Mission‑driven impact at enterprise scale
• Regulatory tailwind creating sustained demand
• Direct visibility to European leadership
• Flat culture with open access across teams
• Opportunity to shape how DACH scales technically
• Exposure to global enterprise customers
• Real ownership rather than narrow demo execution
