About the company
Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and run the full revenue function from the ground up, working side by side with the company founders. The work spans outbound strategy, deal management, sales operations and reporting, and relaying market input to the product team.
What you'll do
- Create the go-to-market playbook from scratch, including target customer definition, outbound approach and the processes future hires will follow.
- Run highly researched, low-volume outbound, work warm channels through advisors and industry contacts, and manage conference participation end to end.
- Move deals forward by managing pilots, keeping evaluation cycles on schedule, handling security reviews and procurement steps, and producing proposals, decks and one-pagers.
- Set up sales operations infrastructure using a CRM and AI tooling for account research, signal tracking and follow-up automation.
- Own pipeline and revenue reporting, lead the weekly pipeline review and prepare the go-to-market section of board materials.
- Capture objections, feature requests and competitor insights and feed them back to the product team.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 1 to 4 years of hands-on startup experience, for example as a founder, founding account executive, chief of staff or business operations lead.
- A record of building a playbook, process or business from nothing rather than following an existing one.
- Comfort with enterprise B2B sales, including five to seven figure contract values and cycles of one to three months.
- Real fluency with AI, including understanding how it works and building processes around it.
- Strong, human-sounding written communication and the presence to hold conversations with senior executives at industry events.
- Experience in a very early-stage startup environment, with ownership of a revenue number.
- Extreme ownership and initiative, working without being asked.
- Readiness for a five-day in-office, high-intensity culture with responsiveness on evenings and weekends.
Bonus points
- Experience in go-to-market engineering.
- Enterprise B2B sales experience with five to seven figure contract values.
- A technical background.
