As a founding engineer, you will build backend infrastructure and API integrations to support AI-powered agents that automate complex enterprise workflows. You will work across the full stack of product infrastructure, focusing on reliability, data modeling, and computer-use systems.
What you’ll do:
Build core product and platform systems across both our API/integrations stack and our computer-use platform for enterprise workflow automation. You’ll work on backend architecture, product infrastructure, reliability, data flows, and systems that are the foundation for AI-powered agents operating real enterprise workflows.
You might be a fit if you want to:
This is not a narrow backend role. You’d be building across classical backend systems and a frontier product area: reliable computer use in enterprise workflows. The work spans APIs, infra, automation, and AI-adjacent systems, with lots of room for ownership. You’d be joining at a time of rapid growth at a well-capitalized startup run by an experienced, second-time, exited founding team.

You might be a fit if you want to:
- Build production systems at the boundary between software and AI
- Work on both traditional backend engineering and next-generation computer-use products
- Ship customer-facing features quickly in a technically ambitious environment
- Own hard reliability and latency problems in messy real-world systems
- Help turn experimental AI capabilities into dependable product infrastructure
- Backend services, APIs, data integrations / modeling / schema design
- Infrastructure for AI-powered computer-use workflows, including orchestration, state, and recovery
- Observability, alerting, debugging, and production hardening
- Owning engineering relationships & feedback loops with customers
- Product features that span deterministic code, browser automation, and model-driven execution
- Strong backend or systems engineering experience with Python or similar languages
- Experience building APIs, data management systems, and production infrastructure
- Comfort working close to product, debugging complex systems, and owning features end to end
- Excitement about AI systems and interest in building the infrastructure around agents/computer use
- Bonus: browser automation, workflow systems, applied AI products, or healthcare software experience
- Top of market salary compensation plus highly competitive equity package
- Unlimited opportunity for growth as a founding team member, working alongside experienced builders from Apple, Meta, Harvard, Stanford, etc.
- Ability to contribute in a critical role to our mission to dramatically improve efficiency in core economic sectors like healthcare with national-level impact
