Work changed. Pay didn’t.
Coverflex exists to make compensation work for everyone.
Pay is still rigid, fragmented, and hard to feel.
We turn compensation into choice — one platform, one card, one app — for benefits, meal allowance, insurance and more.
Our platform is simple for HR and meaningful for employees.
We provide choice, smarter compensation tools and empowerment.
Role: (Founding) Business Development Representative
Seniority Level: Junior
Type: Individual Contributor

Main Tools: HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Notion, Slack
Location: Remote (Portugal)
Compensation:
Base Salary: €24,000 – €28,000
Bonus / Commissions: €10,000 – €12,000

Benefits: you can check them below (at the end of the page)
Contract Type: Permanent
Your role will play a major role in our success because you’ll be one of the first BDRs dedicated to the German market, directly fueling our sales pipeline and revenue growth.
You’ll be the engine behind new opportunities — opening doors, creating conversations, and ensuring our Account Executives spend their time on high-quality, well-qualified meetings.
You’ll know you’re successful when, after 90 days, you’ve:
Built a strong outbound rhythm with consistent, high-quality activity
Started booking qualified meetings for AEs
Become autonomous in prospecting, CRM hygiene, and handover
How we’ll measure success:
Main KPI 1: Number of outbound activities (calls)
Main KPI 2: Number of meetings booked (SQL)
Main KPI 3: Number of qualified meetings (SAL)
Secondary KPI 1: Pipeline and revenue influenced
Secondary KPI 2: CRM data quality and feedback loops
Let’s be real — here’s what makes this role challenging:
High volume of outreach with frequent rejection
A strong focus on phone-based prospecting (cold calls are key)
You need resilience, consistency, and energy — even on hard days
You’ll be measured on inputs and outputs, not just effort
Fast feedback loops: you’ll constantly adapt based on results
You’ll need to help build structure where it doesn’t fully exist yet, contributing to playbooks, processes, and feedback loops that will shape how our GTM motion is set up in Germany.
This role is not about comfort — it’s about growth, grit, and momentum.
Self-driven, proactive mindset, with strong motivation to continuously improve
Outcome-focused approach, where “good enough” beats perfect and impact beats process
Iterative, curious, entrepreneurial mindset, focused on bringing solutions, not just problems
Resilience in the face of rejection, with the ability to hear “no” without taking it personally
Creative problem-solving ability when the obvious path is blocked
Strong verbal communication skills
Fluency in English and German
SMB outbound sales experience
Knowledge of the benefits market
Exposure to tech, HR, finance, or benefits-related ICPs
Strong CRM usage habits, with HubSpot experience as a plus
Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese language skills
Proactive: you bring energy, initiative, and resilience to your work
Persuasive: you influence others effectively without being aggressive
Objection-ready: you stay comfortable handling pushback and difficult conversations
Calm under pressure: you remain grounded and composed in challenging situations
Coachable: you actively seek and embrace continuous feedback to improve
You’ll probably find this frustrating if…
You lack ambition
You struggle with feedback
You give up easily after rejection
You prefer low-activity, low-pressure roles

TeamTailor anonymisation: profiles are reviewed without relying on names/personal identifiers.
Meeting recorder (e.g., Talka.ai): may be used to capture interviews so we can focus on the conversation.
ChatGPT: may be used to turn interview notes/transcripts into clear, structured summaries.
Important: every application is reviewed by a human, and no decision or rejection is made by AI. If recording is used, we’ll be transparent and (where required) ask for consent.
Decision: within 4 weeks of your application.
Updates: weekly if the process runs longer.
Scheduling: interviews between 10:00–16:00 CET (flexible across Europe).
