Build something monumental for Healthcare!

At Tandem Health we’re reimagining healthcare by putting clinicians first. Our platform - designed by clinicians, for clinicians - is built on deep insight into real-world pain points, with intuitive medical notes and workflows that truly support patient care.

We’re a fast-scaling health-tech company backed by top investors and expanding globally. We move fast, stay curious, and believe building something that matters starts with an extraordinary team. If you're passionate about impact and innovation, we'd love to meet you!

About the Role

You love making things work. You're not in love with a specific solution or technology, but rather delivering value to users.

At Tandem, Forward Deployed Engineers are the ones who bridge the gap between the product demo and real clinicians delivering better more efficient care. You’ll take on whatever stands in the way of our product’s real-world impact, debugging integrations, tweaking deployments, writing code to fill the gaps, and making sure everything runs smoothly in our customers’ environments. The learnings and abstractions you build along the way will set the foundation for the next generation of the product offering.

Making things work for real is often messy & painful - but that’s what makes it fun! The prestige comes from happy customers not using the latest shiny dev tool.

You’ll see firsthand how the tech you build actually changes how healthcare works, and you’ll become one of the people that truly understand both the technical and operational sides of what we do.

This role is perfect for someone who’s obsessed with solving problems, who codes because they love it, and who cares more about impact than tech stack. It’s a role for builders - people with founder energy, who want to learn fast, ship fast, and see their work make a difference immediately.

If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.

What You Will Do

• Work with deploying, integrating, and optimizing our product in customer environments.

• Debug and solve complex, real-world problems across infrastructure, APIs, data flows, RPA, and configuration.

• Write clean, pragmatic code to adapt and extend our systems for each unique use case.

• Collaborate directly with clinicians, partners, and our internal teams to remove blockers and make deployments seamless.

• Shape the next generation of our product such that the next rollout delivers more value, more smoothly.

• Continuously identify, automate, and improve the painful parts of deployment so we can scale smarter next time.

What You Bring

• Deep love for programming and problem-solving.

• Curiosity that borders on obsession - you like understanding why things work (or don’t).

• A bias toward action - you’d rather get things done than talk about them.

• Comfort working in ambiguity and high velocity.

• A mindset that leans toward ownership, creativity, and future-founder energy.

Bonus Points

• Experience integrating or deploying complex products in healthcare.

• Any other language skills than a fluency in English is a plus, especially German.

• Solid experience coding in Python, TypeScript, or C#.

• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in the web or Windows context.
