The Role
As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be addressing Particle Measuring Systems customer equipment maintenance and repair needs. The position is tasked with assuring customer satisfaction through timely and efficient maintenance and repair and continual improvement in the quality of our products and services. This position is an onsite service technician for our partners in Pennsylvania with additional travel in support of regional installation base (50% initially – rising to 100% in 2028).
Job Responsibilities
- Calibrating, troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment
- Supporting customer calibration and maintenance of Particle Measuring Systems micro-contamination monitoring equipment
- Researching customer problems and complaints
- Acting as a liaison between customers and various departments
- Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety

Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Electronics or military equivalent
- 1-year minimum previous Electronics Technician experience
- Ability to read schematics in English
- Ability to trouble shoot with minimal guidance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Team player focused on customer satisfaction and quality, with a sense of urgency
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of lasers, and/or collecting and condensing optics helpful but not required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- This is an onsite position located at one of our industry partner sites in Pennsylvania
- This role operates primarily in an office/lab environment. Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. required
- Travel: 50% initially; up to 100% by 2028

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary range: $29 - $43 per hour, depending on experience

For new hires, offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role, with flexibility to recognize experience, skills, and education.
