Field Service Engineer-NC

Are you a mechanical mastermind? Do you believe the hum of a perfectly restored machine is the sweetest symphony? Does the challenge of diagnosing a complex electromechanical puzzle get your adrenaline pumping? If you don't just fix machines, you breathe life back into them—then keep reading.

The Role:

You will be the face of Phillips, based out of your residence and mastering the territory Monday through Friday in a company-supplied van. Your daily score will involve engineering excellence: troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex CNC machines and systems, and bringing new, state-of-the-art machinery online through precision installations. Beyond the technical work, you'll provide world-class customer service that goes beyond the repair—building genuine, lasting relationships and creating legendary value. A critical part of your role will be roadblock elimination: proactively seeking out and annihilating any obstacle that stands between our customers and peak productivity, thus ensuring long-term partnerships and securing future work for Phillips.

What you need to be successful:

We are looking for individuals who embody the Phillips spirit. If you never accept a goal less than audacious, even when the path is currently undefined, and you drive forward with determination and the relentless desire to be the absolute best in your craft, you belong here. You must possess deep experience with CNC machinery OR a powerhouse combination of a strong mechanical and electrical background. While a Mechatronics, Machining, or Engineering certification or degree is a plus, your industry experience and demonstrable skill are paramount. Our vision is two-fold: to be the world’s best supplier of manufacturing technology, and to create a Phillips Community where we learn to live great lives. We hire people committed to both.

Success in this role requires a proven track record in a service or maintenance environment. We require a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and the ability to be the most knowledgeable service engineer in the industry, with a desire to continually learn each and every day. Finally, you must have the willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the month within your assigned region between Monday and Friday.

Compensation at Phillips is based on the market and your individual level of contribution. The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $65,000.00 and $95,000.00 annually. If you have a different suggestion, please mention it in your application.

Our Phillips community is a unique blend of high performance, passionate, and deeply caring individuals, and teams, on the path to virtuosity for the purpose of providing leaps in productivity and prosperity around the world. Please apply on our website today at
