SEI’s Community & Family Programs (CFP) advances SEI’s mission by strengthening the families and households that support underserved youth. Through direct services and strong partnerships with schools, community organizations, and public systems, CFP works to reduce barriers, increase safety and stability, and support households in achieving self defined goals that promote long term well being and economic mobility. The Family Stability Administrative Coordinator serves as a central administrative support for domestic violence and child welfare services, helping ensure documentation, reporting, invoicing, referrals, and program operations are accurate, organized, and compliant with agency and funder requirements. In addition to providing administrative coordination, the Family Stability Administrative Coordinator provides domestic violence hotline coverage and serves as a resource navigator for community members seeking support. Working up to 28 hours per week, this role balances administrative responsibilities with direct community support and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative and Program Support
- Review case notes and participant documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with agency, contract, and funder requirements.
- Compile, organize, and review documentation required for invoice submission to SEI’s Finance Department for processing to the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS).
- Coordinate external referrals to appropriate Family Stability team members and community resources.
- Provide administrative support to Family Stability Program staff and leadership as needed.
Domestic Violence Hotline Coverage and Resource Navigation
- Respond to hotline calls using trauma informed, survivor centered, and culturally responsive practices.
- Return calls from individuals seeking services, support, resources, and information.
- Conduct basic safety assessments and provide resource navigation and referrals.
- Connect callers to internal programs, community resources, and partner agencies as appropriate.
- Provide emotional support, information, and guidance while honoring participant choice and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of hotline contacts and referrals in accordance with advocacy privilege and confidentiality laws.
