Sales Executive - Group & Catering, Multi Property

Melbourne | Sheraton Melbourne, Courtyard Melbourne & Element Melbourne Richmond

Representing Sheraton Melbourne, Courtyard Melbourne Flagstaff Gardens and Element Melbourne Richmond, you'll have the opportunity to work across three distinct Marriott brands, unlock new business opportunities and play a key role in one of the most exciting commercial evolutions in our Melbourne portfolio.

If you're competitive, commercially curious, love winning business and get genuine satisfaction from seeing enquiries turn into confirmed events, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

What you'll be doing

You'll be at the centre of the action, working with clients, event planners, businesses and internal hotel teams and above property leadership to convert opportunities into memorable events and profitable business.

Your day could include:

• Responding to group accommodation and event enquiries

• Building proposals that win business

• Following up leads and driving conversion

• Conducting hotel site inspections

• Managing client relationships from enquiry through to handover

• Working closely with Revenue, Operations, Event Planning, GSO and Market Sales teams

• Identifying new business opportunities and growing existing accounts

What makes this role different?

This isn't a traditional hotel sales role.

You'll be joining a newly formed, specialist Group & Catering team designed to do one thing exceptionally well: drive results.

You'll gain exposure across multiple Marriott brands, work with a broad range of clients and be part of a team that's focused on performance, collaboration and career growth.

We're looking for someone who:

• Loves building relationships and closing deals

• Is energised by targets and achieving results

• Has strong communication and organisation skills

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment

• Is proactive, curious and willing to learn

• Has hotel, events, hospitality or sales experience (preferred, but not essential)

Most importantly, we're looking for attitude. We can teach systems and processes. We can't teach energy, drive and a genuine desire to succeed.

Why Marriott?

Marriott International is the world's largest hospitality company, with more than 30 hotel brands and endless opportunities to grow your career locally and globally.

In return, you'll enjoy:

• Career development and global mobility opportunities

• Discounted accommodation worldwide

• Associate recognition programs

• Training and development designed to help you grow

• A supportive and inclusive team culture
