Environmental EngineerWe are seeking resumes for a full-time Environmental Engineer. The primary responsibilities for this role include:Work safely and support mill safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory expectations across assigned environmental programs.Maintain compliance with applicable local, state, and federal environmental regulations, permits, reporting requirements, and corporate standards.Manage environmental programs, procedures, records, audits, inspections, and agency reporting for areas such as air, wastewater treatment, land application, and chemical management.Evaluate mill systems, process changes, capital projects, and new equipment installations to ensure environmental requirements are addressed and compliance risks are mitigated.Identify environmental issues, develop corrective actions, troubleshoot problems, and follow through with operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, and regulatory agencies.Support environmental training, compliance procedures, project planning, and continuous improvement efforts that reduce risk, improve performance, and support mill objectives.Additional duties as assigned by management.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in chemical, environmental, civil engineering or related fields0-4 years of experience in process engineering or environmental engineeringMust be authorized to work in the U.S.Must have valid driver's licenseExperience using Auto Cad, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and ProjectCompensation and BenefitsStarting salary range for position: $86,000 - $90,000Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.Paid Holidays.Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and coverages.Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan.
