Enterprise Program Manager, Transformation & Governance

Job Summary:

Global Partners is seeking a highly capable, adaptable and versatile Enterprise Program Manager, Transformation & Governance to drive the execution, integration, and alignment of complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives across the organization. This role operates at the intersection of program delivery, process design, and strategic execution, translating complex, cross-functional content into clear, actionable insights and outcomes, and ensuring enterprise priorities are translated into coordinated, disciplined delivery.

This individual will serve as the connective backbone across initiatives, workstreams, and leadership forums — driving integration, execution discipline, and operating rhythm so that enterprise transformation priorities translate into aligned, measurable progress and value add outcomes. The role requires a highly adaptable, systems-oriented “utility player” who can connect the dots and move fluidly between big picture strategic planning, process support, hands-on detailed execution, and operational problem solving.

The Enterprise Program Manager, Transformation & Governance will partner closely with executive & senior leaders, program/workstream leads, and business and enterprise functional stakeholders to ensure initiatives are aligned, dependencies are actively managed, and progress is transparent, measurable, and actionable. When needed, this role could also directly manage key transformation or business process projects or programs.

They will also play a pivotal role in implementing and managing the logistics and content of new enterprise governance forums. This role will be a critical part of how they operate – engaging deeply with content, drafting agendas, prepping presenters, reviewing and quality-controlling materials, leading and facilitating working sessions and serving as a backup forum facilitator, capturing nuanced follow-ups, and ensuring decisions and actions are tracked through to closure. The successful candidate is an expert program manager with significant experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programs. This is a role for an emotionally intelligent leader with outstanding judgment and strong business and financial acumen — someone who engages credibly with Executive and Senior leaders, brings discipline to ambiguous environments, and ensures critical decisions, dependencies, and outcomes are visible and actively managed across the transformation portfolio. This role is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, influencing decisions and driving progress and outcomes in a dynamic and evolving environment. Given deep involvement in senior leadership forums and regular exposure to candid, highly sensitive, and confidential discussions, this role demands exceptional discretion, maturity, and judgment. The successful candidate must be senior and experienced enough to navigate nuance, safeguard the candor of executive dialogue, and earn and sustain the trust of the executive team in order to be effective.

Job Description:

• Serve as the primary point of accountability for the integration, coordination and execution health of enterprise transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams, programs, and business functions
• Develop and maintain an integrated view of transformation efforts, including scope, timelines, overarching plan, milestones, risks, dependencies, and value realization
• Design, implement, and continuously improve processes, frameworks, and operating models that enable effective execution, governance, and tracking of transformation initiatives
• Translate strategic objectives into structured execution plans, ensuring clarity of deliverables, ownership, sequencing, and success metrics
• Serve as a central point of coordination and visibility, enabling leadership to understand progress, risks, interdependencies, and required decisions
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment by proactively identifying and managing dependencies, risks, and conflicts across initiatives
• Lead and facilitate transformation program meetings, working sessions, and strategic planning discussions, ensuring effective structure, documentation, and follow-through on actions
• Directly manage key transformation or stand-alone process improvement programs or projects as required utilizing corporate best practices and ensuring effective delivery. (i.e. OST Current State Process Documentation, SLA Discovery)
• Partner with business and enterprise functional leaders to define and document initiative scope, processes, SOPs, and operational plans, ensuring sustainability beyond initial implementation
• Operationalize and run enterprise governance structures, including leadership updates, steering committees, and decision forums; ensure these forums drive decisions, accountability, and forward momentum rather than status updates
• Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion, exercising sound judgment about what is documented, shared, escalated, or held in confidence and protect the openness and candor of executive and governance discussions at all times
• Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting and insights, including dashboards, status updates, risk summaries, and decision materials
• Identify risks and issues, and drive issue resolution and escalation management, ensuring timely and effective mitigation of risks impacting transformation outcomes
• Collaborate with change management and communications partners to support adoption, alignment, and readiness across impacted teams
• Act as a connector across strategy and execution, ensuring that enterprise priorities are effectively operationalized and delivered
• Partner with finance and business leaders to track investment, value realization, and benefits across the transformation portfolio; when applicable, surface trade-offs, funding implications, and risk-adjusted outcomes to support executive decision-making
• Provide direction and oversight to program managers, project managers, and workstream leads across complex initiatives; set expectations for how work is planned, tracked, and delivered, and elevate team performance through strong program management discipline and accountability
• Act as a recognized subject matter expert in transformation integration, program execution, and process design
• Develop and implement new processes, SOPs, and operational frameworks that have broad organizational impact
• Influence enterprise-level alignment, prioritization, and execution decisions
• Decisions and insights directly impact the success of strategic initiatives and business outcomes
• Solve complex, cross-functional problems requiring conceptual and innovative thinking
• Operate under strategic oversight with a high degree of autonomy, owning outcomes across multiple initiatives

Additional Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field required.
• 12-15 years of experience leading and managing complex, enterprise-wide programs, transformation initiatives and/or process design initiatives, with demonstrated success delivering results through cross-functional teams.
• Program & transformation leadership — proven track record of successfully leading or integrating complex, cross-functional programs and transformation initiatives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Program & project management discipline — expert-level proficiency across scope, schedule, risk, issue, and dependency management.
• Process design & structured thinking — process-oriented, structured thinker with strong experience in process design, process improvement, and operating-model development; naturally brings order, frameworks, and discipline to complex work and translates strategy into sustainable execution frameworks.
• Trusted partner & collaborator — builds credibility and strong relationships at every level, including executive leadership; aligns stakeholders and drives outcomes through influence, reliability, and a solution-oriented approach rather than positional authority, navigating organizational complexity along the way.
• Strong facilitator — confidently leads working sessions, program meetings, and strategic-planning discussions; structures conversations, drives toward outcomes, and steps in seamlessly as a backup facilitator for governance and executive decision-making forums.
• Connector & dot-connector — engages deeply with content across initiatives and forums to identify opportunities for synergy, collaboration, and alignment that may not be visible to any individual stakeholder.
• Business & financial acumen — understands enterprise priorities and connects program execution to strategic and financial outcomes; engages credibly with executive and senior leaders on trade-offs, value, and risk.
• Sharp, structured critical thinker — breaks down complex, ambiguous problems with a data-driven approach, identifies root causes, and develops practical, creative solutions; applies strong judgment to prioritize, decide, and move work forward through uncertainty.
• Quick processor & outstanding communicator — rapidly absorbs complex, cross-functional information and distills it into clear, structured, executive-ready insights and actionable next steps.
• High EQ & interpersonal intelligence — reads the room and senses dynamics, capturing the right context, tone, and nuance in communications, follow-ups, and executive interactions.
• Discretion, confidentiality & executive maturity — possesses the seniority, experience, and judgment to participate in candid, sensitive, high-stakes executive discussions; handles confidential content with the utmost discretion, reads nuance accurately, and consistently earns and sustains the trust of the executive team through integrity, reliability, and sound judgment.
• Exceptional attention to detail — nothing slips through; materials, follow-ups, and commitments are tracked and managed with precision, and outputs consistently meet a high bar for accuracy, clarity, and executive readiness.
• Adaptable “utility player” — operates effectively in ambiguous, evolving environments, moving fluidly between strategic, operational, and execution-focused work and adjusting in real time as new forums and frameworks take shape.
• Results-oriented & resilient — brings drive, composure, and follow-through under pressure, stays focused on outcomes in fast-moving, challenging conditions, and recovers quickly from setbacks.
• Self-motivated & proactive — receives limited direction, operates with a strong bias toward action and a high degree of autonomy, and exercises independent judgment within scope.
• Tools — proficiency in program and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, Asana, or similar).
• PMP certification required (or equivalent program management certification).
• Change management (preferred) — Prosci or equivalent certification, with a strong understanding of change management principles and adoption strategies.
