A 4-month winter 2027 internship in MDA Space's Digital engineering department in Montreal, supporting scrum teams that automate development of embedded systems like satellite payloads. Day-to-day work spans CI/CD pipeline improvement, Infrastructure as Code, system administration, and managing engineering tools for PCB/FPGA/software design, using Git, Jenkins, Python/Bash, Windows/Linux, and VMwa

We are on the hunt for a motivated and talented DevOps Engineering Student in our Digital engineering department at our Montreal office. This is a 4‑month internship starting in January 2027.
Overall, the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.
The successful candidate will provide support to scrum‑teams for the automation of development of embedded system such as satellite payloads and other spacecraft.
As our DevOps Engineering Student, you will:
Interested candidates should be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, computer) or computer science with three (3) years completed.
Successful candidates must obtain and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
