• Lead and grow a team of 6–12 engineers; manage hiring, onboarding, and career development

• Set clear goals, expectations, and performance benchmarks; conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews

• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers toward technical leadership; build a culture of ownership and accountability

• Partner with Product Management to translate business requirements into engineering roadmaps and delivery plans

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product Management) to ensure smooth delivery and quality

• Manage project timelines, dependencies, and technical risk; communicate status and blockers to leadership proactively

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends; drive continuous adoption of better engineering practices

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / TypeScript, Angular / Vue.js

• Strong back-end expertise in Node.js; working knowledge of Java, Python, or .NET

• Database expertise: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)

• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture

• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP

• CI/CD tools and DevOps practices

• Version control: Git, GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket

• Unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
