JOB DESCRIPTION & MAIN TASKS

To support its growth, Yole Group is opening an Engagement manager position to strengthen its Custom Projects team. This department delivers dedicated studies across a wide range of topics within the semiconductor industry.

Directly reporting to the director of this activity, you will oversee signed projects from start to finish and drive business development. Focusing on market intelligence studies, you will play a key role in turning client needs into scalable, measurable workflows.

To achieve your goals, you will work closely with the project managers to mobilize and manage multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the quality and relevance of project milestones and deliverables. As you’ll need to work with analysts across all departments, you will need to understand their workflows and the time they can dedicate to your projects.

The position is based in Lyon, France.

As an Engagement Manager, your main tasks will be to:

• Analyze incoming requests, engage with customers and pre-scope projects

• Define contract specifications and build-up commercial proposals

• Develop the business while considering each department’s workload

• Work closely with the different project managers throughout each project to:

• Build the internal project teams and hire external partner when needed

• Track delivery effectiveness

• Monitor project costs, profitability and timelines

• Ensure customers satisfaction

• Track accurately all leads, opportunities and customer interactions in the CRM, ensuring the sales pipeline is always up to date and deliver accurate forecast

• Refine and continuously improve the pricing strategy

• Manage customer relationship

• Follow-up your KPIs

Requirements

· Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent

· +4/5 years of experience in business development / technical sales / engagement manager in a related industry

· Deep interest in the electronics tech, semiconductor industry and its ecosystem

· Proven ability to meet customer’s expectations & build-up long term relationships

· Excellent relational skills

· Excellent English speaking/writing (minimum CECR - C1 / TOEIC 800); any additional language is a plus

· Autonomy, proactivity, time management and commitment are necessary
