Emergency Services Applications Engineer (CAD/Control Room)

NEC Global in Italy is seeking a hands-on Applications Engineer to deliver and support NEC’s emergency services platforms across our national customer base. You will build, deploy, and troubleshoot live systems, ensuring mission‑critical solutions perform when it matters most.

You’ll own end‑to‑end engineering activities, including commissioning, upgrading, and supporting Control Room technologies and CAD platforms, while coordinating tasks via Azure DevOps.

Build, commission, and upgrade NEC Control Room systems. Troubleshoot hardware and software and integration in real‑time. Support projects from start to finish, managing tasks via Azure DevOps. Perform upgrades, patching, and system optimisation. Maintain and enhance engineering documentation, standards, and processes. Provide technical support and coach team members, share knowledge across teams. Join a 24/7 on‑call roster, delivering exceptional customer service (with travel as required). 2+ years in similar roles. Experience operating IT systems for the Emergency Services sector. Strong troubleshooting skills. Experience working within project delivery environments. Excellent communication skills and ITIL knowledge.
