Embedded Software Engineer, Ground Systems
The Company
AnySignal is developing the next generation of RF products and services for some of the most demanding space and defense missions. We’re building a flexible, high-performance platform that’s easy to deploy, monitor, and scale, enabling customers to bring advanced radio technologies to life faster than ever before.
The Role
We’re hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop the software that controls and operates our ground antenna systems.
This role sits at the intersection of software and electromechanical systems. You will develop software that controls antenna motion, motors, actuators, sensors, and other components, integrate new electrical and mechanical systems into the ground software stack, and work closely with mechanical, electrical, RF, and software engineers to build and operate reliable ground systems.
Responsibilities
Develop software that supports the operation and integration of ground antenna systems
Develop reliable, low-level software for controlling motors, actuators, sensors, and other electromechanical components
Build and maintain interfaces between software and ground-station systems using low-level communication protocols
Integrate and test new electrical and mechanical systems with the antenna software stack
Troubleshoot software and electromechanical behavior across integrated systems
Develop automated tests and tools to validate antenna control software and system performance
Work closely with mechanical, electrical, RF, and software engineers to bring new ground-station capabilities into operation
Support the deployment and reliable operation of ground antenna systems in the field
