Embedded software engineer developing low-level C and FreeRTOS firmware for microcontrollers and RISC-V-based silicon devices serving automotive and industrial customers. Day to day involves debugging hardware/software interactions (JTAG, oscilloscopes), unit/integration testing, and building new features using Git.
Bachelors degree in Electronics, Physics or a related field, with a 2:1 classification or higher.
Proven practical experience in embedded C programming.
Experience working with FreeRTOS or another real-time operating system.
Must have experience with GIT/source control.
Proficient in software unit testing and able to demonstrate a strong aptitude for numeracy.
Working knowledge of ISO9000 standards and version control systems.
Experience with USB firmware and low-level USB protocols would be highly desirable.
