Embedded Software Application Engineer Specialist

We are hiring Embedded Software Application Engineer Specialistfor Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and curious Electrical & Electronics / Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in Function Ownership, vehicle systems, requirements management, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity.

Educational Qualification:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another relevant field .

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Requirements and Lifecycle: Own, develop, review, and secure alignment for End User Function (EuF) requirements across variants, markets, and regulations throughout the full function lifecycle.

Drive Global Collaboration and Solutions: Ensure global commonality, evaluate technical concepts, participate in safety and quality assessments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Embedded Software, Electrical & Electronics, Automotive Systems, or a related engineering domain .
• Knowledge of the Transport Solution End User Function structure .
• Strong automotive / commercial vehicle domain knowledge .
• Experience with vehicle feature roadmaps .
• Knowledge of vehicle development and verification .
• Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 / Functional Safety , including HARA and Functional Safety concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• General knowledge of vehicle development, integration, testing, and verification .
• System / CarWeaver knowledge is mandatory .
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Cybersecurity , including TARA.
• Experience working with Jira and Agile ways of working.

• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and drive technical alignment across organizations.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
