Email Marketing Manager at valerie-group – India(Remote) | Jobyssey

About this Role

We're looking for a Klaviyo expert Email Marketing Manager to own lifecycle marketing across Valerie's e-commerce partner brands. You'll build the customer journeys that turn first-time shoppers into loyal customers; from welcome flows and abandoned carts to post-purchase experiences, product launches, and win-back campaigns. You'll combine creativity with data to deliver campaigns that not only feel on-brand but also drive measurable business results.

You could be a great fit if...

You think beyond newsletters and enjoy building lifecycle journeys that improve customer experience and revenue.
You have deep expertise in Klaviyo and know how to use segmentation, automation, and personalisation to create high-performing campaigns.
You enjoy combining creativity with data and use insights to improve every campaign you launch.
You understand customer psychology and know how to build campaigns for different stages of the customer journey.
You're comfortable analysing performance and turning data into actionable recommendations.
You enjoy collaborating with designers, copywriters, and marketers to bring campaigns to life.
You're always looking for ways to experiment, whether that's testing new messaging, optimising send times, or exploring AI-powered workflows.
You take ownership of your work and enjoy building systems that scale across multiple brands.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or email marketing, ideally within ecommerce.
Strong hands-on experience with Klaviyo. Experience with Omnisend, ActiveCampaign, or similar platforms is a plus.
A solid understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and conversion optimisation.
Experience planning and executing automated email and SMS journeys.
Comfortable working with GA4, Triple Whale, or similar analytics platforms to measure performance.
Strong project management and communication skills, with experience working across creative and marketing teams.
A portfolio or case studies demonstrating campaign strategy and commercial impact.

Bonus Points

Experience with HTML/CSS for email template customisation.
Experience working in a high-growth startup, agency, or ecommerce business.
Familiarity with AI tools for content generation, segmentation, or campaign optimisation.
Experience with predictive analytics, customer lifetime value modelling, or experimentation frameworks.

You probably shouldn't apply if...

You see email marketing as simply sending campaigns rather than building customer relationships.
You prefer repeating the same playbooks instead of experimenting and improving performance.
You're uncomfortable working with data or measuring the commercial impact of your campaigns.
You prefer working independently and don't enjoy collaborating with creative, product, and growth teams.
You're looking for a role focused on execution alone rather than strategy, experimentation, and continuous optimisation.
