Email Marketing & Copywriting Manager

About Lumida

Lumida is an AI-native modern wealth advisor and Wealth Architect for owners and creators.

Our mission is to make money intelligent. We bring investing, trust and estate planning, and tax strategy together in a single wealth architecture—helping clients grow, protect, and transfer wealth with greater intention.

Our investment platform spans public markets and differentiated alternatives including select pre-IPO opportunities for qualified clients. Our approach is institutional in its breadth, non-consensus in its thinking, and deeply personal in its application.

Lumida is a tech-first, AI-native firm built by a technology founder. We are making significant investments in proprietary AI Services that identify opportunities across a client's financial life, strengthen investment research, automate client-service workflows, and help our advisors deliver faster, smarter, and more personalized advice.

Our team shares the mindset of our clients: curious, original, and driven to build what does not yet exist. Lumida is venture-backed, with investors including former SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt, and supported by a leadership and advisory network with deep experience across investing, technology, and financial services.

Lumida is backed by board members and early investors in Circle, SoFi, and Coinbase who see similar disruptive potential in Lumida.

Lumida's differentiated, non-consensus insights reach a broad audience through our podcast, newsletter, and social media, with recognition across major outlets including The Wall Street Journal and CNBC.

The job

You own Lumida's outbound email program. You build the lists, write the copy, run the sequences in Apollo.io, keep the domains healthy, and hand qualified replies to our SDRs and advisors. Our audience is founders, operators, and high-earning professionals in the United States, which means the writing has to read like it was written by an American peer, not a vendor.

Because the writing is the scarce part, the seat is broader than email. You also write the copy for our landing pages and for our Meta and Google ad campaigns, and you storyboard ad creative — the concept, the sequence of frames, the hook and the payoff — for our designers and video editors to produce.

What you will own

The list. Sourcing and building the audiences we email. Apollo.io filters and saved searches, enrichment and waterfall enrichment, third-party list purchase and list rental where it makes sense, scraped and partner sources, conference and attendee lists, verification and bounce-scrubbing before anything sends. You decide who is worth emailing and you can defend the segment.

The copy. Every sequence, subject line, and follow-up. Three to five touches, written to one specific persona, with a real reason for the email to exist. You will write for people who get twenty pitches a week and open none of them.

Apollo.io. The program lives here: sequences, A/B tests on subject and first line, send windows, reply detection and routing, task creation for reps, and clean handoff into HubSpot so nothing is worked twice.

Deliverability. Sending domains and subdomains, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, mailbox warmup, volume ramps, spam-complaint and bounce monitoring, and diagnosing a program that has started landing in promotions or spam. When reply rate drops you know whether it is the copy or the infrastructure.

Landing page and ad copy. Headlines, subheads, and body copy for our landing pages, and the copy for our Meta and Google campaigns. You work alongside our performance marketing lead, who owns the media buying, targeting, and measurement; you own what the ad says.

Storyboarding. Concepts for ad creative and short video: the hook, the frame-by-frame sequence, the on-screen text, the payoff. You hand a storyboard a designer or editor can produce without a second conversation.

AI agentic workflows. You own the agent workflows behind our blogs and newsletters — secondopinion.lumida.com (tax), our health and longevity blog, lumidadeals.com (venture deals), and the Lumida Ledger. Research and drafting agents, repurposing an episode or a post into email and social, sequencing what runs when, and where a human reviews before anything publishes. You build these yourself and you own whether they produce work worth sending.

Measurement. Open, reply, positive-reply, meeting-booked, and closed-loop reporting back to lead source in HubSpot. You report on meetings booked, not sends.

Compliance. Anything client-facing or investment-related is subject to SEC marketing rules. Asim reviews outbound copy, ad copy, and tax and deals content before it goes out, including anything an agent drafted. This review is a real gate, not a courtesy.

What we are looking for

• Deep hands-on Apollo.io. You have personally built sequences, run tests, and managed lists in it.
• Experience acquiring email lists — building them in Apollo, buying or renting them, sourcing them from partners and events, and verifying them before use.
• Strong copywriting across formats — cold email, landing pages, and paid social and search ads. You have written cold email that a US audience actually replied to, and ad copy that converted, and you can show both with the numbers.
• Strong storyboarding. You can take a concept to a frame-by-frame storyboard with hook, on-screen text, and payoff, and hand it to a designer or editor.
• US-publication-quality written English. This is tested.
• Working knowledge of email deliverability: domain authentication, warmup, and what causes a good program to go to spam.
• HubSpot familiarity, or the ability to get there quickly.
• Comfort using AI tools to research prospects, personalize at volume, and analyze results — without letting the output read like AI wrote it.
• You have built agent workflows yourself, not just used a chat assistant. You can describe one you shipped: what ran in what order, where the human reviewed, and how you kept a fabricated figure from reaching a reader.
• Evidence of excellence: a top school and strong GPA, leadership, founder experience, or a track record of shipping with numbers attached. We do not require a specific number of years.
• In-office in Karachi, with overlap on US Eastern hours.

What success looks like at six months

• A steady outbound program running to defined ICPs, with domains healthy and inbox placement stable.
• Positive-reply and meeting-booked rates you set a baseline for and then improved, with the tests that got you there documented.
• A list-sourcing process our team can run without you in the room.
• Outbound established as a reliable, measurable source of qualified meetings in HubSpot.
• Landing page and ad copy in market that you tested and improved, with the winning variants and what they taught us written down.
• At least one agent workflow running in production against a blog or the newsletter, with a human review step and a measurable saving in time or lift in output.

How to apply

Send your resume and:

1. A three-email Apollo sequence. Write it to this ICP: US-based founders and operators, ages 35–55, with $2M or more in liquid net worth, most of it concentrated in the equity of a company they built or an employer they still work for. Three emails, subject lines included.
2. Two sentences on the angle. Why this sequence works on this person, and what you expect them to reply to.
3. One ad concept, storyboarded. A single Meta ad for the same audience: the copy, and the storyboard for a 15-to-30 second video. Frames, on-screen text, hook, payoff. Rough is fine — we are reading the thinking, not the polish.
4. One agent workflow, designed. Pick one of our blogs and sketch the agent workflow you would build for it: what runs, in what order, where a human reviews, and how a fabricated figure gets caught before it publishes. A page is enough.
5. One program you ran. The audience, the volume, how you sourced the list, and the reply and meeting numbers.

Interview process: a 30–45 minute Zoom with the founder or a member of the leadership team, then one working conversation on your sequence submission.

Karachi-based candidates, or candidates willing to relocate. We pay in USD.
