About Zabota

Zabota is a top-ranked global recruitment firm, recognized as a Top HR Staffing Company by Clutch in 2025. We specialize in helping high-growth U.S. brands build elite, remote-first teams. Our mission is clear: Connect world-class talent from LATAM, Europe, and beyond with the most ambitious companies in the world.

About Our Client

Our client is a small digital marketing agency that partners with a select portfolio of e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands. As a complement to their paid media services, they provide email and SMS marketing solutions focused on driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue. They're looking for a talented Email Designer to help create high-converting campaigns across multiple brands.

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Email Designer who enjoys working across multiple DTC brands and understands how great design drives performance.

In this role, you'll create 1–3 emails per day across campaigns and automated flows, balancing different brand identities while applying direct-response email marketing best practices. You'll work directly with the founder in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where your ideas and execution will have an immediate impact.

Responsibilities

• Design 1–3 emails per day across campaigns and automated flows for multiple DTC clients.
• Create email campaigns for promotions, product launches, newsletters, and seasonal sends.
• Design lifecycle emails, including welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and win-back flows.
• Draft email copy using AI tools as a starting point. You'll only be responsible for creating an initial draft—the final copy will be reviewed and refined by the team, so professional copywriting experience isn't required.
• Create A/B test variations for subject lines, layouts, hero sections, and calls-to-action to improve campaign performance.
• Design popups and signup forms for lead generation.
• Generate and source imagery using AI image generation tools, with light editing and compositing as needed.
• Build, organize, and iterate on designs in Figma.
• Adapt every design to each client's brand guidelines, voice, and visual identity.
• Apply DTC and direct-response email marketing best practices, including mobile-first design, strong visual hierarchy, scannability, and clear CTAs.
• Collaborate on briefs, revisions, and approvals.
• Keep files and design assets organized and delivery-ready.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Photoshop.
• Comfortable using AI image generation tools.
• Strong understanding of DTC and direct-response email marketing best practices.
• Experience designing email campaigns for e-commerce brands.
• Ability to manage multiple brands and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness.
• Experience with Klaviyo is preferred.
• Comfortable using AI tools to generate first-draft email copy (professional copywriting experience is not required).

Offer Details

• Working Hours: U.S. business hours preferred. Candidates outside U.S. time zones are welcome, provided they can remain responsive during the workday.
• Contract Type: Remote Contractor.
• Salary: 1000$ for a part time agreement.
