// Vacancy Trainee Electrical Engineer Data Center Amsterdam Schiphol-Rijk
Around Schiphol-Rijk sits the densest data center cluster in Europe. Everything there runs on power that must never fail, and you learn to take care of it.
At First Case you do not work on just any installation, but on the physical layer under the digital world: the power in the data centers around Amsterdam and Schiphol-Rijk. Streaming services, banking apps and AI services all run on it, and that power must never drop out. As a Trainee Electrical Engineer you learn the trade from the ground up, no diploma needed up front: you work four days a week alongside experienced engineers in the Amsterdam cluster and spend one day a week at school. You start with measurements, pulling cables and helping with battery swaps, and you get your own tasks as soon as you can handle them. Within three years you stand on your own in data centers across the Netherlands, with your papers in hand.
