Location: Columbus, OH. This is an on-site opportunity offering close collaboration with our engineering and architectural teams. We welcome qualified candidates interested in relocating to the Columbus area.
Note: Candidates must have 4+ years of electrical engineering or design experience, knowledge of commercial building electrical systems and lighting design, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit. An Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.

Job Description
- Design electrical distribution, power, and lighting systems for commercial building projects.
- Prepare electrical drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, and construction documentation.
- Develop and coordinate electrical designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver integrated building solutions.
- Apply applicable Ohio building and electrical codes to ensure safe, compliant designs.
- Support electrical engineering project coordination, design reviews, and technical problem-solving.
- Help deliver projects from initial design through construction documentation while maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of electrical engineering or electrical design experience.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and lighting design for commercial buildings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience preparing electrical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Familiarity with Ohio electrical codes and building design requirements.
- Consulting engineering or MEP design experience is highly desirable.
- Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, not required.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
