eCommerce Manager - Animal Health

THE POSITION

We are currently looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable eCommerce Manager to join our Animal Health Team, based in Budapest, Hungary.

While the job title follows our global organizational structure, this is not a traditional eCommerce role. As Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health Hungary does not operate a direct-to-consumer webshop, the position focuses on digital marketing, CRM, customer experience, customer journey optimization, omnichannel engagement, and eCommerce activation rather than direct online sales management.

The role combines strategic and operational responsibilities, including digital project execution, performance tracking, reporting, forecasting support, and preparation of data-driven business decisions.

The eCommerce Manager defines and executes the digital marketing and eCommerce strategy for the OTC and RX portfolio across all relevant online channels.

The role drives retail sales growth by ensuring best-in-class eCommerce activations, optimized digital shelf presence, and effective management of eRetail media investments, while continuously improving customer engagement across digital touchpoints.

The position reports directly to the Head of Marketing and works closely with Sales, Technical, and Regional teams to support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day business operations.

• Experience in reporting, data analysis, business planning, or forecasting support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Digital or related fields.
• Strong commercial acumen, with a clear focus on driving business growth, profitability, and return on investment.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience in reporting, forecasting, data analysis, and KPI tracking.
• Creative and proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and develop innovative solutions to drive performance.
