You will own IT infrastructure and operations end to end, establishing a 12–24 month architecture direction while remaining closely involved in major technical decisions and troubleshooting. You will forecast and optimize compute, storage, networking, licensing, and cloud capacity for demanding semiconductor engineering workloads.
You will operate Linux HPC environments, workload schedulers, shared storage, CI/CD systems, build farms, registries, reproducible build environments, Kubernetes services, and source-control infrastructure. You will architect and manage hybrid infrastructure spanning Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, on-premises systems, virtualization, backups, corporate networks, and laboratory networks.
You will establish security controls for sensitive design data and shipped software, including identity and access management, endpoint protection, data loss prevention, encryption, vulnerability management, software bills of materials, code signing, artifact provenance, and secure key handling. You will also guide security reviews and readiness for SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
You will oversee employee onboarding and offboarding, service-desk performance, facilities technology, disaster recovery, asset management, budgets, cloud financial operations, vendor contracts, and infrastructure capacity planning. You will lead and expand the IT function while determining the appropriate balance of internal staff, managed service providers, and specialist firms.
