This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Demand Generation based in India.
This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building a unified B2B demand generation and revenue marketing engine from the ground up.
You’ll turn existing inbound demand, CRM data, content, and market credibility into a coordinated system that drives qualified pipeline and revenue.
The role spans lifecycle marketing, paid acquisition, content, account-based marketing, CRM optimization, and sales alignment.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership and sales teams to ensure marketing efforts target high-value customers and produce measurable commercial outcomes.
The position combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
You’ll have significant autonomy to introduce new channels, leverage AI, improve processes, and build a lean team around the highest-impact opportunities.
For a commercially minded marketer, this is an opportunity to directly shape the growth trajectory of a scaling organization.
Accountabilities
-
Develop and own the B2B demand generation strategy, including priority customer segments, buyer profiles, channels, campaigns, and targets for qualified meetings, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue.
-
Partner with the Founder and VP of Sales to align marketing investment with the highest-value accounts and commercial priorities.
-
Transform the existing CRM into a revenue engine by leading segmentation, reactivation, nurturing, and personalized journeys for inbound leads, dormant prospects, no-shows, lost opportunities, former clients, and strategic accounts.
-
Analyze CRM data, sales-call transcripts, case studies, and account intelligence to improve the relevance and effectiveness of follow-up campaigns.
-
Improve inbound lead quality and conversion by optimizing campaigns, messaging, landing pages, qualification flows, lead routing, nurture programs, and retargeting.
-
Evaluate marketing performance based on pipeline and revenue outcomes, identifying and eliminating campaigns that generate strong surface-level metrics but limited commercial value.
-
Build and oversee a B2B content and case-study engine using proprietary data, customer results, market insights, and leadership expertise.
-
Direct the production and distribution of founder-led content, case studies, executive communications, research, webinars, sales materials, and account-specific campaigns designed to create demand and strengthen market authority.
-
Establish strong alignment between marketing, setters, SDRs, and sales teams, ensuring leads are prioritized appropriately and marketing programs support active opportunities.
-
Create continuous feedback loops using meeting quality, opportunity conversion, customer quality, and lost-deal reasons to improve demand generation and sales performance.
-
Use AI to accelerate research, analysis, content creation, personalization, campaign execution, and other marketing workflows.
-
Manage small teams, contractors, and cross-functional contributors while maintaining clear ownership and accountability for results.
-
Significant professional experience in B2B demand generation, revenue marketing, or growth marketing.
-
Demonstrated experience building or operating demand generation programs for B2B organizations selling complex, high-value services or software.
-
Proven ability to generate qualified pipeline and revenue from U.S. or international enterprise buyers.
-
Strong understanding of CRM platforms, lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, paid acquisition, content marketing, account-based marketing, and sales alignment.
-
Experience working directly with setters, SDRs, account executives, closers, or other sales functions to improve lead quality and conversion.
-
Demonstrated, measurable impact on pipeline, revenue, meetings, or other meaningful commercial outcomes.
-
Experience in agencies, professional services, SaaS, martech, advertising, or adjacent B2B industries is valued.
-
Strong written communication skills and the ability to develop compelling messaging for senior business audiences.
-
Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose funnel performance, interpret data, identify opportunities, and translate insights into action.
-
Hands-on approach, with the ability to develop campaign briefs, inspect CRM workflows, review messaging, analyze performance, and manage execution without relying on a large support team.
-
Experience managing small teams, contractors, or cross-functional projects.
-
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with incomplete information and evolving priorities.
-
Highly proactive, commercially minded, and accountable, with a consistent focus on business results rather than activity alone.
-
Strong interest in using AI tools to increase the speed, quality, and effectiveness of marketing operations.
-
$50,000–$160,000 USD total annual compensation, including base salary, performance bonus, and equity.

High-performance distributed work environment built around ownership, judgment, and execution.
-
Opportunity to work with meaningful existing demand, a substantial CRM, strong customer proof points, and an established market position.
