Job Description:
The Digital Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of consumer and digital marketing initiatives designed to generate demand, support revenue growth, and improve overall product performance.
Beyond digital marketing execution, this role will play an important part in demand planning and forecasting. The position will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, Logistics, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams to translate market and marketing activities into realistic demand forecasts and actionable plans.
The ideal candidate understands the pharmaceutical business environment and can translate market activities, marketing programs, sales information, and product plans into reliable demand forecasts and actionable business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital & Consumer Marketing
- Develop and implement consumer and digital marketing initiatives to generate demand for pharmaceutical products and support revenue and profitability objectives.
- Translate marketing strategies, promotional activities, and product initiatives into measurable demand-generation plans.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align digital initiatives with commercial objectives and product priorities.
- Monitor market and consumer trends that may influence product demand and business performance.
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop monthly aggregate demand forecasts for pharmaceutical products as inputs to sales and operations planning.
- Analyze historical sales, market trends, promotional activities, product plans, and other relevant commercial information when preparing forecasts.
- Develop and maintain product-level demand forecasts and product mix projections.
- Establish, document, review, and update the assumptions supporting demand forecasts.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Support the preparation and execution of demand consensus and Sales & Operations Planning meetings.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, Logistics, Purchasing, and Manufacturing/Operations to align demand and supply plans.
- Prepare relevant forecasts, assumptions, reports, and business inputs for demand consensus discussions.
- Communicate changes in pharmaceutical product demand and assess their potential impact on supply and inventory requirements.
Demand Performance & Business Analysis
- Monitor actual sales and demand performance against approved forecasts and plans.
- Analyze significant variances and identify the underlying factors contributing to over- or under-performance.
- Prepare regular demand performance reports and provide actionable insights to Sales and Marketing management.
- Track demand trends, product performance, and changes in market requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in demand planning, forecasting, marketing operations, commercial planning, or a related function.
- Solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
- Experience handling pharmaceutical products, consumer healthcare products, or a related regulated product environment is highly preferred.
- Experience working closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing teams.
- Experience supporting demand forecasting and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting product launches, new markets, or demand planning for new products is an advantage.
Preferred Knowledge:
- Pharmaceutical industry and consumer product environment.

- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is an advantage.
