Digital Account Manager

Chili Digital is a performance-driven digital marketing agency operating across Latin America and international markets. We specialize in SEO, Paid Media, CRO, BI, and data-driven growth strategies that maximize ROI and long-term business impact.

We believe Account Management is not a coordination role — it is a leadership role. At Chili, the Digital Account Manager is the owner of the portfolio, the leader of the squad, and the guardian of both client success and internal efficiency.

Why Join Chili Digital?

• Be the most senior decision-maker for your portfolio, with real authority and accountability.

• Lead multidisciplinary squads (SEO, Paid Media, Content, CRO, BI) and shape how work is delivered.

• Work with international clients and complex growth challenges.

• Operate in an AI-first, fast-paced environment where ownership is valued over hierarchy.

• Have direct influence over retention, growth, margins, team performance, and client satisfaction.

About the Role

We are hiring a Digital Account Manager to fully own a portfolio of clients (15 accounts).

This role goes far beyond client communication. You are responsible for everything that impacts the health of your portfolio — revenue, costs, delivery quality, team performance, client satisfaction, and growth opportunities.

You are the escalation point, the strategist, the project owner, and the people leader.
If something goes wrong in the portfolio, it is yours to identify, solve, and prevent from happening again.

This is a high-responsibility role that requires advanced English, emotional intelligence, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-moving agency environment.

Core Responsibilities

Portfolio Ownership & Growth (Revenue + Retention)

• Own the full performance and health of your client portfolio.

• Be responsible for retention, upsells, cross-sells, and expansion opportunities.

• Identify risks early and proactively act to prevent churn.

• Partner with Sales and Leadership on renewals, scope changes, and growth opportunities.

• Ensure the portfolio grows sustainably, not at the expense of delivery quality or margins.

Client Leadership & Escalation Management

• Act as the single point of accountability for all client communication.

• Lead monthly reviews, strategic calls, quarterly planning, and performance deep dives.

• Manage difficult conversations, expectations, feedback, and escalations confidently.

• Translate business objectives into clear strategies and execution plans.

• Represent Chili as a senior strategic partner, not a vendor.

Squad Leadership & People Management

• Lead and manage your full squad (SEO, PPC, Content, CRO, BI).

• Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, KPI tracking, and development planning.

• Ensure team members understand priorities, standards, and expectations.

• Identify skill gaps and coordinate training, certifications, and coaching plans.

• Participate in hiring decisions and performance-based team changes when needed.

• Drive accountability while maintaining a high-performance, healthy team culture.

Project Management & Delivery Excellence

• Own all timelines, milestones, and quality standards for your portfolio.

• Ensure campaigns and projects are delivered on time, on scope, and at Chili quality level.

• Use ClickUp (or equivalent) to manage workflows, dependencies, and visibility.

• Ensure SOPs are followed and improved when gaps are identified.

• Balance speed and quality in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.

Performance & Data-Driven Decision Making

• Understand performance across SEO, Paid Media, CRO, and funnels at a strategic level.

• Use data to guide decisions, prioritisation, and client conversations.

• Ensure reporting is clear, honest, and tied to business outcomes.

• Work closely with BI to improve dashboards, transparency, and insights.

Requirements

• 2+ years in a senior Account Manager, Client Partner, or Client Services role (agency experience required).

• Strong understanding of SEO, Paid Media (Google, Meta), CRO, and funnel strategy.

• Proven experience managing client portfolios with revenue responsibility.

• Demonstrated people leadership experience (1:1s, performance reviews, development plans).

• Experience with project management tools (ClickUp preferred; Asana, Monday, Trello acceptable).

• Strong commercial mindset with experience in upselling, cross-selling, and value positioning.

• Advanced English (mandatory) — daily communication with international clients.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Highly organised, resilient, and able to perform under pressure.

• Comfortable multitasking and making decisions in a fast-moving environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Ownership-driven mindset — you don’t wait to be told what to fix.

• Calm under pressure and confident in difficult situations.

• Strategic thinker who can also execute operationally.

• Strong leadership presence with empathy and accountability.

• Obsessed with quality, performance, and long-term client success.

Benefits

• Competitive compensation package.

• High autonomy and visibility with leadership.

• Direct influence over team structure, tools, and portfolio strategy.

• Continuous training in leadership, performance marketing, and client services.
